These joysticks serve as the key operator control for maneuvering Komatsu excavators, mainly for controlling the movements of its working devices. Typically, the left and right joysticks work in tandem. The left one often manipulates the swing of the excavator and the extension and retraction of the arm, while the right one usually controls the lifting, lowering of the boom, and the digging and unloading actions of the bucket.
