• Function and Application

1.Air Filtration: The breather is installed in the intake system of the engine before the air cleaner. It can remove a large amount of contaminants and dirt from the incoming air, effectively reducing the larger dirt particles and water droplets entering the air cleaner. This can extend the service life of the air cleaner and protect the engine well. For example, in a dusty working environment, the breather can prevent dust from entering the engine, reducing wear and tear on engine components.

2.Pressure Balance: In the hydraulic system, the breather is installed above the oil suction side of the hydraulic tank. As the oil level in the hydraulic tank changes and the air inside inhales and exhales, the breather can keep the oil suction side of the tank at a pressure almost similar to the external atmospheric pressure. This can maintain a stable pressure difference in the hydraulic system pipeline, prevent local overpressure, and avoid the possibility of tank deformation and hydraulic pump air suction.
